When I got home, I had the perfect opportunity to put my favorite sweater on and dress up in my favorite color.
It’s actually a perfect example of a “Pink Silk Pillow,” as the fabric is so soft and light that it can be worn all day long.
Here are 10 simple steps to making a nice, soft and comfy pink silk pillow: 1.
Make the silk pillow in the spring, when it’s softest and warmest.2.
Cut the fabric in half and then cut out the fabric piecewise.3.
Fold the folded fabric piece back to make a triangle, then cut that piece in half.4.
Repeat the process to make two triangles, then fold the two pieces back to create a triangle.5.
Lay the folded triangle over the fabric, and sew the triangle in place with the back seam facing out.6.
Finish the pillow by lining it with a layer of felt.
I used a light grey felt to make the felt, but you could also use a darker grey felt.7.
Wrap the fabric around the pillows body and then fold it in half again.8.
Sew the back and front seams together, then sew the two halves together.9.
Pin the pillow to the pillow.
It can be pinned up against a wall or hung up from the ceiling.10.
Use a simple needle and thread, a sewing machine, a stitch marker, a needle, and a fabric brush to sew the pillow together.
