The first 20 movies of the new “Silk” series from Warner Bros. Pictures are among the best movies made in Hollywood during that era.
There are some great gems, including “The Manchurian Candidate,” which starred Mark Ruffalo and stars Amy Adams, and the equally great “Silver Linings Playbook,” which has an adorable cast including Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig, James Franco and Amy Sedaris.
“Silky” is a wonderful film, and we are glad to be part of it, said Seth MacFarlane, the son of late comedies “Family Guy” and “The Simpsons.”
“It’s such a fun story.
We’re just really happy that we’re doing it with a group of filmmakers and actors, and that we’ve got so many great filmmakers and great actors on board.”
“Silks” stars Amy Schumer, Chris Pine, Kate McKinnon, Billy Crudup, Kate Beckinsale and Jussie Smollett.
The film was shot on location in Australia.
