Silke Silke has been named as the 100th player to join Juventus in the 2018-19 season, with the Bianconeri set to start their Serie A campaign with a victory against Lazio on Tuesday.
The Swiss international, who was previously a part of the Austrian national team, has been a part-time player for the Biancans this season, and he looks set to make his Juventus debut at the Stadio Olimpico.
Silke, 25, joined the Biancocelesti from Bayern Munich in 2015 for a fee of €20 million, and after making his debut for the German giants, he has now netted just seven goals in 23 appearances.
However, with Juventus currently holding the Serie A title and the Champions League as their main objectives, Silke’s future at the club remains unclear, with Carlo Ancelotti the only man who can replace him on the wing.
Silk has scored seven goals for Juventus in Serie A this season with two assists, but the German international will be hoping to continue his impressive form after being one of the stand-out performers for the Serie B champions last season.
